Forestry Mulching in Mineral, VA — Before & After

A microburst left this Mineral, VA backyard covered in downed trees and storm debris. Rodney and Charlie cleared the property in a single day — mulching what could be mulched on-site and hauling away everything the mulcher could not take. The Challenge

A microburst hit the property hard — downed trees, broken limbs, and scattered debris across the backyard. The owner wanted the mess gone without burn piles, and much of the debris was too large or too tangled to mulch. The job needed both approaches: on-site mulching for the material the disc mulcher could handle, and hauling for everything else.

Our Approach

We brought in the Case TV450B tracked skid steer with the disc mulcher attachment and processed every mulchable tree, limb, and brush pile in place — grinding it into a clean mulch layer over the ground. Larger trunk sections, root balls, and debris the mulcher could not take were loaded and hauled off-site. We finished with a full-property cleanup pass so nothing was left behind.

The Result

The backyard went from storm-wrecked to clean, open ground in a single day. Mulchable material stayed on the property as a soil-building mulch layer; everything else was hauled away. No burn piles, no smoke, and a yard the owner says looks better now than it did before the storm.
